Knolanders adhere to Kommunism, a pragmatic living ideology constantly taking the good parts of Communitarianism, Communalism, Communism, and any other-isms of the past, present and future.

Values

We believe:
- Privacy is an inalienable right
- Free is not right
- Open has nothing to hide
and in practice:
- We fight for privacy
- We don’t physically track our users in the first place, as far as secular laws allow.
- We are for profit but not greedy
- We use profitability as the yardstick of the value provided by our products and services.
- We charge secular institutions for our products and services which are priced to be minimally profitable
- We share our profit among Knolanders according to their individual contribution.
- We hate with passion and don’t allow unsolicited advertisement.
- We are radically open
- Our books are open. Everyone is encouraged to audit our bank statements.
- Our code is transparent: open for examination and contribution but closed for modification and commercialization.
- Our decisions are openly made through democratic processes such as request for comments (RFC), request for implementation (RFI), and voting.
